During the tour van escort scene in the jungle, when riding the metal beast and being attacked by the goths:

Zanian(sp): "What is that sound, it's making me feel so..."
Eddie Riggs (Jack Black): "Oh, that? That's just the bassist."
Zanian: "Mmm... I feel better already..."
Killmaster: "Just doin my job, Ma'am."
Zanian: "Nnnnnnnn...."
Eddie Riggs: "Man, what is it about bass players?"

Actually, all throughout the game, bass is shown in a seriously positive light. The whole second chapterish area is a quest on and for the bassist's thick strings for his healing tones.

And he looks cool as hell and rides a sick trike with thick woofs on the back.
