Maybe they just realize he's a prima donna they overpaid for...and wanna make an "example".

That's 1/4 of the NFL season so about 40 MLB games would be an equal amount. If it were really for "health reasons" can they apply for an exemption? Like if he needed to use an inhaler for asthma (sp?) or something?

| | | | Not that I am a Yankee fan, but it is nice to see that MLB is punishing people no matter who they are (not just Yankees). On another note, anyone out there feel like David Ortiz was juicing before and now he is struggling because he is off his cycle? Every time I see him swing at a pitch it is painful.

Adam | Oh man, get that trade done immediately!!! Unless you feel good about Juan Pierre hitting before Ethier, although he could move up in the lineup...

-Mike | Not someone, just about everyone around here. I hope not, but honestly wouldn't be surprised that Manny and others were juicing in '04. Baseball needs to clean this up soon.

He was a ball of fire for a bit there, and when all the steroids stuff started being revealed, all his numbers started dropping off.

Papi is missing balls that he used to clean out, the power and timing is starting to come back but he is at the age that decline starts to show. I really, really, really, don't want to think about Papi and PEDs - that would suck.
If you look at Manny's numbers in the last 2 seasons with the Sox and then last year with the Dodgers - huge jump that is probably explained by more than just crappy NL pitching.
