To start with, I hope your all as excited as I am with the possibility that this generation, we may get a mario kart that does not suck *COUGH* GAME CUBE VERSION *COUGH* *COUGH*. It looks extremely promising.

Second note, I see that someone's grabbed the European version. Relish it. He's apparently gone to a lot of effort to display every aspect of the game.

I don't care....I just don't care....so long as the Double Dash trademarked "every time I turn my kart feels like it's gonna flip over for no reason" thing is gone, I'm good....I played MK64 last week at a party....it was like I was robotripping....it felt horrible seeing my mario kart just.......sucking.

MK64 is one of the best games ever invented. I ruled at the battle games.

The SNES version is easily the best. Hands down. The N64 version was lacking, and Double Dash was just meh.

The DS and GBA versions are also great.

I won't argue with it. I bathed in its glory when IT STILL HAD IT. but after that party i found it pretty confusing to imagine at one point I wrapped my hand around that strangely shaped N controller and attempted to win points primarily using A and B keys and dancing around the C keys, than using the z key. and whatever else they had going.....

lol no idea....I like the gimp mask. i guess he was concerned that in playing a pirated game for people that he burned to disc that he was infringing on some sort of law and that Nintendo's army would come out with their black helicopters and automatic weapons to kill him?

Totally can't wait for this to hit the shelves.

IMO, the DS version is the best by far.

EDIT: I wonder if this guy really thinks wearing a wrestling mask is going to make it harder to figure out who he is...?

M64 was god awful in my opinion. The SNES was and still is the best with a close second of DD. Why does everyone seem to have issues with DD?

The 64 is the best! Best tracks, unique but still "driveable", Double Dash had some trakcs that wanted to be so "cool and crazy", but were bad to race.

The SNES has controls bad, a pain to turn on curves. The DS version is downright awesome, along with the 64.

Does anyone else have this yet?

I'm glad to report it does not suck.

***EDIT***

Just realised it's not out in the US yet.

DD is one of the best to me.....

However, I will say I'm very upset at the fact that they took the specials away from characters in the Mario Kart Wii edition. Yup.......The days of people being owned by the Huge Bowser shell are over.......

IGN gave it an 8.5/10. For those of you that have had a chance to try it, does that sound about right?
