The Mark Failson HOF (Hall of Fail) Thread

Sign in to disble this ad
So let's gather links to the Failson Fails, and then I'll edit them into the OP. Perhaps after we get enough of them we can add a poll with carrots.

Here's what we've got so far.

The Mark Failson Canadian Hockey Fail
I just wanted to let you guys know...

The Failson Macwheel
Apple introduces revolutionary laptop with no keyboard - Macbook Wheel

Failson clones his Fail
Mark Wilson - MacWheel/ClickWheel??

Failson fails to learn.
Things I am currently doing/not doing (much of)

Failson fails to fall for the moderator fail trap known as xtreo's coming out of the closet thread, but then fails with simple math. You can't write this stuff folks. He's a natural.
I finally came out of the closet

Fail at pointing out a Failson fail thread that's already been pointed out.

This might end up a fail mega-thread.

Would this not just be entirely easier if we just link a search result to "find all threads started by Mark Wilson"????

I would like to think so.

That link resolves to:

TalkBass System Message
Sorry - no matches. NOTE, that the forum search ignores words that are under 3 characters long, or extremely popular words like "bass" and "guitar".

Alternatively, try the powerful TalkBass Google search option available on the Advanced Search page.

man, I remember way back to when I first joined here (ok, it really wasn't that way back). The first thing I ever read of failson's was a thread complaining about how fat he was. So for the next year or so, I had a mental image of an obese, balding pale canadian dude with tight pants and a horrendous muffin top.

Mark, you even fail at presenting yourself accurately to strangers.

Well we've already seen his fails clone, so zombies can't be that far away.

Maki,

You may have bitten off more than you can chew with this project.

I did a search of threads started by Mark Wilson... 489... twenty five pages of threads.

Now... I'm not a real TB "regular" around here... but I have read enough to realize that... given his "failson" tendencies... his massive thread starting talent... and good ole statistics...

You could be on here listing thread links for a long... long... time.

Good luck...

the execution may be "poor", but the idea is sound.
