While the first year is statistically "challenging" it's nothing you won't get through. I'm happy for you. Have a great time!
Where in Hawaii, btw? We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. LOOOOOOOOVED IT!!!

(I'll +1 on the "lots of learning to do" part. We'd been together for a good few years before the wedding, but there were still many "growth opportunities" in year 1. You'll do fine as long as you keep communicating.)

I married my best friend about a month ago. Granted I'm still in the "honeymoon" phase, but I don't forsee any problems see my wife and I have known each other and have been best friends for over a decade now. There's nothing to hide, and all the surprises are good surprises.
Have fun on your honeymoon!

I married at age 34 to someone I had known for 4 years - no real mysteries to be discovered, which was nice. 27 years later, it's still great. I wish you the same!

Seriously,...if you marry the right person,...it may require some work,...but that work is seemingly effortless. |

Just beware of the inevitable, inexpelicable, and unpredictable changes that occur in a woman who has tasted her own wedding cake!
