Maybe it's all a misunderstanding and he was actually trying to trade his baby-mama for a couple of 40s. I've had similar thoughts about past girlfriends.

Man, you'd think for a baby girl you could squeeze someone for more than just a pair of 40s. Coulda gotten at least a quart of Grey Goose and 6er of Sierra Nevada.

W/o knowing the child in question, I can't say what I'd offer. Besides which, I have 3 of my own(kids, not 40s).

Can't have been that great a kid if the guy didn't accept the offer . . .

My favorite part: "The child's mother was in the store at the time buying cigarettes." What a shock.

Even better, the next sentence: She was not charged.

You need a license to drive, but not to have kids.

Well, this also warrants an extremely important question: what 40s was he buying?

There have been moments where I would have paid someone to take my kids, but trying to sell them is just wrong.

what's worse is this all went down about 10 minutes from my work.......judging by some of the "locals", I'm not surprised at all....but I can't say anything to co-workers, in that area, they's all kin.

I love that I have a 45 minute commute, in this capacity. I get to drive away from stoopid.

and probably for beer that wasn't worth drinking anyways. I'm going to assume it was for 2 40's of Olde English 500 or like Bud Ice or something else equally nasty, but really, that stuff is like 2.00 a 40. I could dig change out of my car and able to buy one of those. Only I'd go for Hurricane ("Slurricane" if you're from richmond.)
