It kicks off tomorrow in Sacramento, unfortunately I cannot attend as planed, due to an injury resulting from an accident. But it would have been good. /rant

What bands are playing there? I find that most festival never have anything that I'd die to see.

Disturbed killed at last year's Mayhem Fest. I wanted to see more of the second stage bands, but many of the people in my party wanted to tailgate in the parking lot all day.

For me hands down the best side stage act was "Walls of Jericho", first time I had heard them and was sold right away. I now have all their records on vinyl got my picture taken with the lead singer (shes hot) and got them to sign one of the album covers.

Some good side stage acts this year. All That Remains had this smokin hot female bassist that was quite good. Lots of pics of her in my flickr set above.

Slayer was good, but I think the two main stage opening acts were the best. Kill Switch Engage and Bullet for my Valentine. With Manson I was really expecting a stage show and I guess since it was just his show the stage performance was very low key and not that impressive.
