Who else is getting it?
I played the beta demo and overall it was good. Certain things needed improvement, such as the ability to go prone, giving the sniper class an actual scope instead of red dot sight and making you upgrade to a scope, explosives damage could've been better, it seemed like there was a minimal blast radius and you could only get 1 kill if lobbed into a group. The graphics IMO, were quite good.
I've been a MOH fan from the beginning, so I'm grabbing this one later tonight. I'm curious to see the story behind it. It was supposed to be the Taliban, but they reworded the enemy name due to political correctness. If they changed the story line to something fictitious, I'll be a bit disappointed. I've always admired how the series based most of the WW II material on actual battles and missions.
I'm also concerned about server quality due to Battlefield Bad Co. 2 freezing and bumping people on a regular basis.
One thing I know I won't be disappointed with is the sound effects. MOH, IMO, always had the most realistic audio. Overall, I'm looking forward to playing it tonight.

The biggest issue is the servers lagging, freezing, and bumping people rather frequently.
The game takes a while to load.
Voice chat is disabled while in the lobby.
Squad formations like in BF Bad Co. 2 or MAG would have been a nice touch, rather than the 24 on 24 as a group.
The need to recalibrate the weapons. SMG's are over over powered, especially for targets at range. Sniper riffles are under powered, the Dragunov shouldn't take 3 or more shots to take down most targets,
Sniper class (Dragunov) starts with red dot sight instead of a scope. Doesn't make sense why a sniper riffle would comethat way.
Prone position unavailable
Frags have a very short fuse Pros Include:
Great graphics
Great audio. Very realistic. If you have a good surround sound system or run it through a home stereo system, you won't be disappointed.
Good system for scoring and unlocks.
The game has some bugs to be worked out. Especially, the server related ones. A game should not be released with the server issues EA is having.
Overall, it is a good game and I like it. Once they fix the bugs and revamp the over/under powering of weapons, (to include explosives), it'll be even better.

bc | The servers for BF, BC2 still suck. My friends and I regularly freeze and get bumped from games. I don't thinks its a beta issue as much as I think its a quality control issue with EA.
On a side note. As for campaign mode, the story seems pretty good so far. The missions are fairly long. One thing I don't like is, I'm playing on the hardest difficulty level and it seems too easy. Don't get me wrong, I'm dying and it's somewhat challenging at times, but overall, it seems to easy for this level. The COD "veteran" difficulty is much more challenging.
One other thing that I didn't like was that I had to update the game before I could playit. Doesn't seem right that you should have to do that with a game on its release date.

It's the only game that I can't beat on its expert setting. |

I also want to add/recant what I said about the story. Despite long missions, the story line this is very short, and a huge let down, because it has a very stupid ending.

I have two gripes with BFBC2:
1 - no prone
2 - games take too long to load (bf2 was just as slow)
I'm really interested in trying MoH, I got tired of BFBC2, and started playing MW2 again (someone please knock some sense into me).

I think this is the 1st MoH since the PS1 that doesn't let you go prone. This game is like a combination of BFBC2 and MW2. I think you also get a wider variety of weapons in the other 2 games.
