Memorial Day in Manhattan (56k warning)

Sign in to disble this ad
So...my girlfriend lives in Manhattan. I go up there pretty regularly on the weekends to hang out with her. But I've never done the tourist bit. So this weekend; Memorial Day weekend, we did it all. And in standard TB fashion...the pics.

Us in the gift shop at the Empire State Building

We found the Statue of Liberty crowns and madness ensued...

Pics from the top of the Empire State Building

Brooklyn Bridge

Ellis Island

WTC site

Cathedral of St. John the Divine

Strawberry Field in Central Park

Statue of Liberty

That's probably more than enough...Just thought I'd share.

wow, GREAT pics, madness!

NY City does look like a really cool place to be...

No way, those pics are great. Thanks for sharing them. If you have more, maybe you could make an album on photobucket, and give us a link to it.

Great pics! I love the view from the Empire State at night, that's the only time of day I've been up there.

A few more...

I decided this weekend that I'm buying myself a DSLR. My P&S is a POS and I'm tired of sub-par pictures. So I'm now officially in the market for a good DSLR. If anyone has any good recomendations for a kit that's under $1000, lemme know.
