Here is a Great Big shout out to all of those men and ladies who gave their life to keep America free and safe!

For those of you who live in the GREAT country of America, please take some time to thank any service people and vets you see and to spend a few moments in silence for those who are not amoungst us.

peace to all!

Doug

To Pacman and all others currently serving in the US military, thanks and respect.

To those who have given their lives, and to their families and friends, a humble bow of gratitude.

Copied and Pasted sentiments I left in another thread.

As one who cannot serve, I'd like to echo others sentiments and add; Those of you who do serve or those of you who've had a loved one that served and those of you that know someone who has given the ultimate sacrifice, I owe all of you a personal debt of gratitude.

You'll never know what this means to a person whose mind is willing to help but their body is incapable. Trust me to say that the sacrifices don't go unnoticed or unappreciated. The inability to give a hand weighs on my mind daily. All is not lost of what you folks give. Thank You to each and every one of you.

Prayers and Blessings to all who love more than self.

God Bless, Ray

I am glad you understood what I was saying, basspraiser. I appreciate it. As someone who was shot 3 times in the military (not all at once: guess I have a guardian angel) and seen all to close up the sacrifices made by Americans well, I probably have an attitude. Hah! Go figure.

But, you, basspraiser, are a gentleman and scholar, and I extend you my very best, as I also do to all service members past and present.

Peace and ALL DUE (serious) respect to you fine sir!

thank you for your sacrifice!

I just got back from a local "Healing field" where 1700 flags were set up in honor of those dead and/or missing in action.....very touching and sobering!

My family and I will attend our town's Memorial Day parade tomorrow, and also the ceremony following where the names of all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country from our town are read.

Thanks to all the veterans out there!!!
