US wife who killed, cooked husband seeks parole - US news
She's up for parole. I don't know if that is a recent picture, but she is a nice looking woman. They say she is from Southern (Upper) Egypt. I'm pretty sure she is ethnically Nubian and underwent the extreme form of female circumcision where the woman's vagina is sewn up except for a small hole after the clitoris has been removed. That would be enough for me to want no sex either!

| | | After reading that article, I can't help but wonder... what's the point in going through the trouble of cooking someone if you're not going to eat them? Just seems like a waste of time and energy to me.

| | ~ | | | | The article clearly states that she chopped him up so she wouldn't meet him in the afterlife. It's not like she was crazy
I'm guessing, her goal is achieved.
Then again, he was a drug smuggler...if he was bringing in drugs to kids, then good riddance.
The question is, BBQ sauce or Honey Mustard with those ribs?

The question is, BBQ sauce or Honey Mustard with those ribs? | That's an interesting Pre-Islamic belief. I suspect it is a folk belief with roots going back to Pharoahnic times.

Were the Myans psychotic? No. Yet they were pretty gory, and we all know even our basic modern religions have gory components.
This gal seems to simply be suffering from being abused in her ancient home culture, and not being able to adapt to a more modern one. I'm definitely not qualified to diagnose anyone, but that's how it looks to me.
I guess the lesson is to really take the time to know who you get involved with. The world is a lot smaller today, and there is no telling what kind of baggage they may have.

The Egyptians had a highly developed social structure with art, religion and warfare when our (most of us anyway) ancestors painted with their mudsoaked fingers onto cave walls and used sticks and stones to beat sense to rivaling groups, worshipping the moon.
