at the age of 23, not much more than two weeks away from 24? Still in college, I find myself doing the following: getting far more retarded as far as tests, yet doing well in tests, and questioning EVERY SINGLE BASIC DETAIL OF HUMAN LIFE.
I'm believing I'm going crazy.

I think its important to question everything, but the key is being able to balance it with being able to function in what you're doing, in your case school, in some cases a career.

that's exactly what's going on. I'm like asking crazy stuff tho like "what is life?" "what is death?" "what is a home? how does one make a home?" "how is a person 'born'?" "what is a career?"

and then there's the deal with "I have so much ****. look at all this ****. how do i have so much ****. WHY do i have so much ****. Can I get rid of this **** ? should i get rid of this **** ?"

get a beer and calm down or you'll stress out and have an aneurysm.

when i turned 23 i started a quest to find out who i am and that led to me returning to school to study music. my questions were who am i, what do i believe, where am i headed in life, what should i do, why must i do that, and toward others i was questioning who really was my friend, what role they play in my life... etc.

so far all i have figured out is i like music, and beer, and some women are pretty. some day ill have all the answers until then c'est la vive.

Then in THAT case you may need to party more. Tomorrow is a holiday, don't you know? Why not celebrate?

I wouldn't say its a problem to have these questions, but the real problem is that you can't answer them. "What is home?" You should know where home is. I know that I have many places I would consider home and whenever I ask myself the question, I don't need to dwell on it because I already have the answers!

The other thing I would like to bring up is something I have recently realized. Life can never get that different very quickly. Things can come up that will force you to make decisions, but the real change doesn't happen until the memory of the event is long gone. Looking at adults now makes me realize most of them have no more insight on anything than I do. If I want information or guidance, I have to seek it myself and get the answers that I am really looking for.

Also, drinking can sure as hell lighten things up. Its pretty awful advice, but I drink on a semi-regular basis. It helps me stop stressing over my work and makes my free time much better.

It's important to ask these kinds of questions. Even if you don't find answers to them.

Of all the holidays to get drunk on, Earth Day doesn't really stick out in my mind.

Tomorrow is 4/20, and I think Passover as well. Not that you should feel compelled to participate, but you do go to college yeah? There should be stoners walking around in droves, so it's as good an opportunity as any to meet new people. Making new friends and having things to do helps clear my mind. They'll probably 'get' you as well.
