My last haircut, from what I remember, was probably around October or November of 2004, so it's been around 3 years and my hair goes down around halfway between my elbow and shoulder. The length hasn't changed much for probably over the past six months.

It's sort of weird that you aimed the thread toward metalheads. I like lots of metal, but oddly I've been listening to less metal as my hair got longer. Actually I probably listen to the around same amount of metal in terms of numbers, but it's just that other genres are finally starting to catch up and make their way into the rotation.

Well, I aimed it towards metalheads because generally, they're gonna grow out their hair more often, but thats just a generalization

I've been feeling the same way about music lately, so many different genres and bands have been making their way into my system its amazing.

4 and half to five years or so now. Just get it trimmed to take care of dead ends.

i used to have veeery long haird.. then I did a major cut 3 years ago (shaved completely!)

now I'm letting my hair grow from the 1.7. they're quite long now if you put aside the fact that my hair are curly!! So I think that I will be able to say "I have long hair" within the next summer!

(but I'm not a metalhead)

I am not a metal head but I had hair that was longer than that guy in the picture. and it took me about 2 years from short. but I cut it.

I have grown mine out twice, and shaved it twice.

Took me two years to get my hair down to my armpits. When I started growing it out I had the typical "short and spikey" hair which I used to gel up a lot. So from that look to my armpits in two years is something I am quite proud of. Recently got a haircut to cut off split ends and dead hair at the bottom. Stupid girl (although very friendly and had quite a nice rack) took way more than I wanted off.

She goes;

"Hows about we take it up to your shoulders again, because it's a bit to long now isn't it."
"I don't want that much off" was my response, and I proceeded to tell her where I wanted it cut off too.

And what does she do? Cut it off until it's shoulder length.

I miss my hair being longer.
