Mexican Coke

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone out West have Mexican Coke available? I've been itching to try some (with cane sugar as opposed to high fructose corn syrup) and want to know what everyone thinks who's tried both?

If anyone has some available, would they be willing to mail me a six pack?

You need to find a local mexican market. Drive around the areas of town populated mostly by hispanics and you should find a Mercado Latino. You also need to try the Carne Asada.

Mmmmm... Jarritos is good stuff. I get a bottle of it every time I stop in for lunch at this authentic mexican joint in town.

Try looking for Kosher Coke. I know it's widely available around Passover. Are you anywhere near Lakewood or NYC?

I've tried both, and the sad truth is that corn syrup tastes better than real sugar in soda. I'm in the "health food" trade, and all the natural sodas have been converting away from corn syrup due to the health and GMO problems/suspicions associated with corn syrup, but unfortunately they all taste worse now.

If I can find it in Grand Rapids Michigan, you should be able to find it where you are too. Try shopping at markets who's names begin with the prefix "La" or "El".

Tim, just down the street from me are two stores that carry Mexican cokes. I'll see what I can do about shipping a six'er out there without breaking. PM me if nobody else has got it already?

BTW, you might have luck at Costco.

One of the corner stores around my house sells Mexican Coke (at least they used too). It's many times better than the corn syrup kind.
