Michael Jackson Tributes?

I was surprised not to see TB full of tributes and sympathy - as all the other media today are here?

Sad that another great musician has died at a young age.

Last night I went and saw the Dave Matthews Band in Brixton. On the way home I had to get the bus as the Tube was broken and there was a drunk / perhaps homeless looking dude at the back of the bus who kept saying "Michael Jackson's Dead" periodically and everyone just thought he was a bit odd. That statement alone doesn't make much sense. However I checked my phone and saw on BBC that he was in fact in hospital (although wasn't dead at the time). Its funny how something that seems so strange in isolation (ie a random person saying it over and over) makes much more sense when you think about it. Hopefully he is remembered for his positive contributions to music and not his bizarre (and that's underplaying it) personal life.

Yes - so when I opened TB this morning and scanned the first dozen or so pages of new threads - I was surprised at the lack of tributes - probably due to geographical time differences - main US posters are sleeping when I am at my most awake!

You may have noticed that a lot of people "sleep" when you are awake Bruce. Not just US posters.

LOL Mark. Cheeky monkey.

Let's keep this to one thread for now - Muuser's is the earlier.
