Awesome!
I realy doubt that he is gonna do anything outstanding, since Red Bull have became the dominators of tarmac and the recent ressurection of McLaren and Alonso's Renault, but that doesnt make it any less awesome that the legend of F1 is going to be driving a Ferrari until Felipe Massa gets better from his recent injuries |

Ferrari have a workable KERS system, which seems to be the strong point in McLaren's recent turnaround, eh? Ferrari have a great opportunity to play spoiler the rest of the season, wins or no. |

Felipe Massa's personal medic has said that Felipe is willing to start driving back at Valecia, the upcoming GP, and that he is not suffering from any dangerous injury and that while he looks like a boxer his recuperation is going very fast and has no damage on his eye.
Europe GP is hapening in august 23, so Schumi on the tarmac might not happen... |

I hope Massa recovers well. |

There are 7 races left, at the moment J. Button is leading the champ with 70 points, Massa and Kimi have 22 and 18 respectively. There is no way they are getting close to Button because 5 out those 7 races are warm/hot circuits BGP is not going to have truble with tires temperature, so their only real contender is going to be RBR. |

That's what killed Dale Earnhardt. I would be very surprised to see him in a car this season. Why risk it? Get fully rehabbed, get all your testing done this winter, and start fresh in 2010.
Man, that in car footage of his wreck was just awful.

Just look at the results from the last race!
KERS means that an car that is slower overall can still readily crash out the contenders at the start too. |

But is the biggest reason because it's him...or because F1 is losing its competitive appeal?

KERS means that an car that is slower overall can still readily crash out the contenders at the start too. | Not just at the start but also at the overtaking spots, most circuits have one or two of them, a slow car with kers will slow down whoever is behind them but its really hard to overtake.
The way i see it the kers should be banned, its a worthless piece of engineering that doesnt serve racing at all and it only helps to make starts more dangerous and to screw drivers parting from the "dirty" lane, like with Hamilton and Kimi on Vettel at last GP. |

During his career, Schumi was the master at diagnosing a car's problems from a driver's perspective. With the current testing ban, maybe Ferrari is finding a way to get him into the car to help them improve.
