Any ideas for clean wholesome fun in midtown NYC this Saturday at 7 am?
Not a lot open, right?
We have plans later in the day, but wife and teen son might need to kill a few hours. Any helpful hints?
Thanks,
Jim B

Yeah, not much open then, but they could go to Rockeffeller Center and hang around and then head down to the Empire State building I'm pretty sure the observation decks open @ 8:00.

I just saw something on the news this morning about hot-air balloon rides being offered in Central Park.

walk through Times Square, it so much nicer without all the people. Green Tree Diner on 47th is a nice place for breakfast

The NBC Today Show is live at Rockefeller Center, usually some kind of entertainment on weekends. Lots of folks hanging around outside the studio with frequent outdoor show segments .....

Plus, it's free .....

There's a nice diner for breakfast adjacent to the lobby in the Waldorf-Astoria. Not cheap, but has a cool vibe if it's on your way.
