No, the big airshow is months away.......

I'm havin' a blast with this thing. It gets the adrenaline flowing just as bad as riding crotch rockets And........as long as I don't hit myself with it, I don't think I can get hurt

Don't panic. Seize the day.

Actually, that looks like major fun.

Thanks! Yes we had some wild clouds and weather going on. My son took all the photos just using the auto mode on my D200. Out of about 50 shots he got a few really good ones.

This was a low pass that he used the flash on.

I have Sean Connery on speed-dial for this kind of stuff... Don't toy with my emotions.

Really cool plane & pictures. My last experience with RC planes was I spent all this time building & painting this cool ME 109. I took it out for it's first flight, started the engine, the plane caught on fire & burned to the ground.

That was the end of RC planes for me.

That sucks!! I'm flying electrics these days. They're not immune from going up in flames either but are easier to set up and less messy.

Several people have PMed me, here's the link to the company that makes the kit. It's an easy build and you can learn to fly it using simulator software. It uses elevons only so handling is different than a typical rudder/elevator/aileron plane. Basically you have roll, elevator and throttle. In the videos on the website, they are flying slow......believe me The biggest challenge with this plane is keeping it within sight and maintaining visual orientation. It has a very broad speed range. At slow speed it's very docile and gentle spot landings are easy.

Here's the plane itself. It has a 24" wingspan and is about 36" long.
