Talking "The Mighty Boosh". Anyone not seen it and fancy a laugh?

Not exactly new, but seems to have quite a cult following around Europe.

The Mighty Boosh is a UK comedy show, which is as weird as it is funny. Anyone with 20 minutes to spare could be amused by these clips ...

The Legend of Old Gregg ...

The Crack Fox ...

GENIUS !!!

Yeah, me too.

I don't know if it's his accent, or disjointed choice of subject matter, but I can't listen to him without a big, stupid grin on my face .

"The Crack Fox" is just as funny though.

I've been watching the Boosh for a while.
Crack Fox is just...unstoppable.

The Hitcher is funny too.

That's ok, it's natrual to be scared by a drug addicted, oversize rodent, who mutters "I want to put you in a dress and hurt you real bad" under his breath - it's nothing to be ashamed of .

Good point! There's definitley too few references to our noble instrument in popular culture and The Boosh bring it right to the fore on every given opportunity . Another reason to watch it!

Yeah because (dangit i forgot his name... the short brown haired one.) Loves his jazz funk fusion. With multiple slap bass references and references to mark king. Great show... too bad its hard to watch on t.v. here in america and i don't think they have any DVD's out... anyone know in UK if the fourth season is finished (they skipped the 3rd season because they want l8er generation to go on a search for the "lost season".)

The slap-bass dude is the Hitcher, he has the huge thumb (for hitching) which makes him the master of slap-bass, he also has solo-polo vision. He's probably my joint favourite character along with the 'Sprit of Jazz'
I love the song right at the end after they've defeated beatmax when in search of the 'new sound'.

I have to admit, Old Gregg makes me a little worried about the fact that I, too, really enjoy Bailey's.

Old Gregg is probably one of my least favourite episodes.

The Nightmare of Milky Joe, now that is a good episode.

Also if you haven't already you should check out Garth Merenghi's Dark Place.
