We had a conversation about white kids making this gesture and speaking gibberish ("ting tong ching chang") etc to mock asians. He used his thumb and forefinger to widen his eyes and yelled, "BLUE JEANS! BIG MAC!". I was nearly crying. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Minnesota | | | I remember when I was in elementary school there was this rhyme that was going around that the boys would try to make the girls do during recess.....They would push the sides of there eyes up then push them down then they would point at there knees and if they were dumb enough to do it they would lift up there shirts to show there bras. it went like this: This would all happen while this was said outloud "Chinese, Japanese,dirty knees look at these" This was back in 1974 thru 76 when I was in 4th thru 6th grade. |

I remember that vividly. It was at the same time too - 74-76 I was in 4th through 6th grade.
