A million dollars or a guilt-free conscience?

Sign in to disble this ad
This is from an upcoming film. Just seen the trailer for it on YT.

Anyway, suppose you have a box delivered to you. In the box is a metal case containing a single red button and a note:

You are given two choices:

Press the button means someone will die somewhere in the world, but you'll be given $1,000,000. No catches, no tricks. You'll get away with murder.

OR

You don't press the button and this person will not die.

You don't know the person so there's no connection between you two, and you'll not get charged with murder or anything.

What do you do?

To me, someone's life > money. Always, whatever amounts there are.

No amount of money is worth someone's life.

Now a million bucks to give someone crabs? Sure, I'll push the button.

Same here. Although being able to get away with it might be tempting to some people.

You wouldn't know though do you? You could just as easily be killing a mother of four.

New movie?...OLD concept. That's an old "Twilight Zone" theme.

There are billions of people on the planet. Can I double up and get two for the same price?

Not without knowing who it was.

There's plenty of people out there that I would be more than happy to kill if I got the opportunity. I don't need the money and my conscience would be fine with it. I'd sleep like a baby. I'd be happy to supply my own bullet and the gas to get there.

OBL
That Ft. Hood Bozo
Just about any baby squeezer and I wouldn't care if they were a priest
Bernie Madoff...

It's a long list. As far as I'm concerned, it's just taking out the trash.

But to just pick at random? No way.

You can't know. And even if he/she is, you can't punish the dead. I have more sadistic than killer thoughts towards these people.

Looked absolutely terrible in the previews, don't think I'm going to pay to watch that one.

...Unless it's the kind of bad that lets me irritate fans by laughing obnoxiously all the way through?
