Either way, I'm absolutely addicted to this stupid game.

Never got into the game myself.

I can't wait for the official release, I really want to see the multiplayer aspect, I just hope that there are no griefers.

| | | My 11 yr old son loves Minecraft
He uses the Beta, de-compiles and changes their java code to add new features, and hosts the new code on his own server.
Dude is hard core! (seems so is Minecraft)
OT: he had previously been programming Roblox.com MMP, but I think that is more oriented towards kids. (and TB'ers? ) |

its also the reason i am rarely at TBOT anymore!

Although it's early, I'm totally sold on the idea. I just hope it gets done well and it's ported to the PC at some point. FortressCraft

But you can also use the legoz you mine to make tools and weapons and other stuff you can use.
It's good fun, and the potential is pretty massive. Like someone already said it's no Dwarf Fortress, but it certainly has a lot of depth and can keep you occupied for.. months.
To see just how massive: Minecraft - Outside the Blocks Episode 6: One Build to Rule Them All - YouTube
Basically, they are creating all of Middle Earth in game, 1:1. Currently it takes 12-14 hours (real time) to walk across the entire map. Pretty much blew my mind several times.

| | | | I've got the Beta as well, but I can't get into it for more than an hour, and the most in-depth thing I've done in the game was plant trees 64 blocks into the air.
