minneapolis, this weekend

hey y'all. yes, its been a while. i have had some crazy job changing experiences keeping me busy. but now, i am starting to settle in.

and even better, i have a weekend off. for the first time in a long time i will be free as will my gf. so we are thinking about heading up to minneapolis. i hear its a real fun place.

so, if any of you, in the know, could offer me some good ideas of where to go and what to do, etc that would be greatly appreciated! i am looking for a place to stay, good food to eat (vegetarian ), live music, and general great partying opportunities. and, i guess, something to do in the afternoons(?).

of particular interest to me is finding ethiopian food, if it exists there. and also, are there options for partying in the city and not having to drive? i hope some exist!

thanks a lot in advance, gang!

i am pretty darn excited. can you tell?!

Www.citypages.com will point you to all the Ethioplian food in town. Don't overlook Somalian food either lol.

Two of the largest immigrant goups recently have been Hmong and Somali, soif you like Vietnamese or Thai or East African food there is plenty to be had.
