A minor inconvenience...

Just wanted to have a small whine about my constant headache and frequent nose bleeds that have been going on for a few months now.

It's getting annoying, especially when I'm at work or trying to sleep, to have my nose erupting and bleeding all over the place two or three times a day.

I should probably see a doctor...

Go see a doctor. It could be nothing, but at least they can probably find out the cause and stop it.

Get your nose catourized(?) like my dad did. He used to get nosebleeds all the time, from my understanding they stuck a hot needle up his nose and ended his misery haha.

Does sound like you need a vein in your nose cauterized, I used to wake up to my pillow saturated in blood as a kid due to rubbing my snozzle around and breaking a little vein close to the nose lining. At the time it was cauterized with sulpur, just like a big matchstick, no biggie but it will sting a little bit for a while. Anyways get to the Doc's with it, like yesterday.

You could just google "nosebleeds and headache"... But that'll tell you to go see a doctor.

This sounds much more logical than my earlier suggestion of a hot needle. but it would still work haha. I guess if you have a soldering iron laying around you could try that:P (kidding of course)

Boy, I need to put a disclaimer in my sig!

If you're like me the last thing you want to do is go to the doctor, but in this case I think I would make an exception.

Yeah, I hate going to the doctor. Plus, it's a pain in the butt... it's only a 10 minute walk from my house, but then I miss the train that I normally get to work, and the one after, so I'd be about 2 hours late just for an appointment. Which I'd have to work back of course.

Why bother going to a doctor? Apparently, all you need to do to cauterize the vein is to stick a hot needle up your nose. Hell, you could do that at home. Be handy and save some cash. Or, ask a friend to stick a hot needle up your nose for you.

(I'm kidding. Sorry. Good luck.)

Haha! fortunately for me, I'm in the UK where medical treatment is provided by the NHS.

Sticking anything hot up my nose is undesirable, so I'll be asking for a local anaesthetic...

Don't worry about it, it isn't hot in temperature as I remember, just a dab with sulphur.

I should probably see a doctor stop sniffing so much blow...

Since when does good sense have anything to do with it?

Just kidding, hope your nose stops bleeding.

do you take any medications (over the counter or otherwise) that are blood thinners? that would be my first guess. if its a chronic issue, then stop posting and see a doctor.

Do you smoke? Or does someone in your household smoke? Back in the day when I used to smoke a lot of reeeaaaallly strong smokes, I'd get a nosebleed fairly regularly every night and roughly every other day.
