So last week I purchased a classical guitar from what the seller described was an all solid wood well constructed guitar.
It came in last night it does not look like a thing on it is solid wood looks like a $50 kids guitar I think the case it came in is probably worth more. I did a bunch of looking at the sellers other guitar adds at his feed back and at the pics and ebay add its self. Thought it was an educated decision on buying it guess I was wrong.
I spent 15 minutes tuning it and never could really fine tune it in because the tuner pegs were so loose the g string. Basically got it in tune strummed and plucked on it for 2 mins and it sounded horrible I was like what the... Turned my tuner back on every string was already grosely out of tune again.
I knew I was taking a chance on this guitar payed $250 for it but I was not expecting it to be unplayable and this shotty. I was expecting all solid wood with less than perfect craftsmanship on the bad side not a Chinese kids guitar.
Anyone else had similar problems I emailed the seller waiting for a reply describing the problems I found asking if he would do a refund but I don't know the response I will get. |

| | | If you paid with paypal you are golden. Contact the seller and see if he will resolve the issue to your satisfaction quickly. If not, file a complaint with paypal and wait for a refund. |

Same issue,...couldn't tune it. I'd suggest replacing the tuners,...but I think you'd be better off trying to get your money back and spending it on a legit Classical Guitar.
EDIT: I googled "Guitarras Pilarte" and it netted nothing of note.

Is it normal that one bidder jacks the price up all by himself?

The seller was soon flagged and banned but still. |

Unless it was a good few years ago, they have been very 'buyer friendly' for a good 3 or so years now.

Say you had a starting bid of £1. The first bidder might put a bid of £10. But it will show his bid is £1.
A second bidder comes along and puts a bid of £5, it will then show that the first bidder has placed a bid of £5.10 (or whatever incriment they use).
So while it looks like the one bidder has ramped up his price, it has been someone else upping the value.
