One that was so profound it actually changed the name of the song.

In the Garden of Eden = In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida

It may or may not be true. But still a cool story.

Pretty Fly For A White Guy:

I heard
"You know you can always grow up in delay"

but is actually
"You know you can always go on Rikki Lake"

I actually think my version suits the song better

"Limelight" by Rush

For the longest time, my friend and I couldn't make out what Geddy was saying, but we agreed it was:

"Living on a fish island, caught in the camera eye.."

The actual line is: "Living in a fish-eye lens.." which makes a bit more sense

That same friend misinterpreted a song by The Syn that nobody will know:

Actual: "Like a phoenix rising."

He heard: "Like a fetus, rising."

I could do the misheard lyrics for Rational Gaze by Meshuggah, but everyone who likes that song will hate me for it (and probably already know about it).
