Mister Ed Wasn't a Horse?

I was checking out Snopes (for the first time) and I came across some interesting stuff.

One that completely blew me away was the fact that Mister Ed was not really a horse...he was a zebra.

I'm not sure if this topic has ever been brought up before, but it really amazed me. I thought for sure he was a Palomino.

Next thing you know they'll be telling me Lassie was actually a boy dog....

Well he does have horns. Maybe his buddy taking advantage of him there is a gay bull. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
