Mmmmm Chicken and Dumplings

Sign in to disble this ad
So I have recently started to purchase Campbell's soups in those little microwavable cups, and let me just say... this Chunky Chicken and Dumplings is nothing short of amazing... By far the best Campbell's soup I have ever had!!

So. If you are going to buy Campbell's soup in a microwavable cup, but this!

I have never had the Cup version of this, but I have had the big microwavable ones of these, and they are pretty damn good.

I tend to just eat my Campbells soup cold though, too lazy to heat it up.

My wife makes it from scratch. I have yet to try the Campbells. As good as I'm sure it is, I think I would still be disappointed with the Campbells.

Glad to hear someone agrees haha

I don't think I would like it as much cold though... I don't mind putting in the effort to heat it up... at least its only microwave it for 3 min and its done!

OMG you are lucky.

I need a woman to make me scrumptious meals... of course intended in a less bigot-ish way! but the girl I'm dating isn't exactly a culinary genius, if you know what I mean...

My mommy made it for me when I was a kid. It was my favorite meal for many years

I'm afraid I too would be disappointed, but I'm willing to try it

Cracker Barrel makes a good CND too, fwiw.

I hear ya.

She'll eventually come around with her culinary skills. Just don't ever compare her cooking to your mom's or something you bought at the store. That will devastate a young woman trying to learn how to please her man by cooking nice meals.

The C&D recipe is actually quite simple. Not nearly as quick as a microwave, but maybe you and her could make it together some weekend afternoon. Once you make it a couple times, you'll both have it down. Then you can take the leftovers to work and heat that up in the microwave. Until then, enjoy the Campbells. No shame in that.

No problem buddy. Here is a link to the recipe my wife works from....C&D.

That recipe comes from Paula Dean over at the Food Network. That woman knows how to throw down a good down home meal like C&D.
