Ladies and gentlemen, I am considering a change of hairdo.
Right now, my hair pretty much sproings into "up mode" whenever I don't goo it down. Here's what I'm talking about :
Pretty much:
So now, I'm seriously looking into shaving it into a mohawk. Not a "fauxhawk" or a weenie Beckham-style landing-strip, but a full-on mohawk that I can color and have some fun with.
My wife gave me the go-ahead (she's so awesome!) so hurdle one is out of the way. My day-job allows for wearing a cap, so there's no problem there either. My new band plays mostly classic rock and funk, and we're just about having fun on stage, so no prob there either. 'Sall me.
Have any of you switched to the Mo? Or had a band member who did? if so, how did that affect your band dynamic and fan or crowd rapport? Let me know please!!
-and if I take the plunge, obligatory pics will be forthcoming of course. Thanks in advance-

Also,if you're not sure jumping into a real yellow mohawk, you could try the "Mac Tavish" style first.I was seriously considering this in the summer, then I realised with half of my hair gone it'd be no where near cool as this.

Grow it more and go "Glen Plake" style. This guy was the man back in the 80's on the ski scene

No matter how easy your hair do is now, a hawk is 500 times easier. Plus, coloring is always awesome. They're also "out" from a fashion perspective right now, which is one of the reasons I do something.
