Bummer. Jaws scared the living daylights out of me for years, but I would still watch it whenever I could.

I think he was in 2010 also. I remember him being on a TV show about a water research team, or something like that. He had a beard, which freaked me out since I only remembered him from his Jaws character.

Roy had a home in Putnam Valley NY and I saw him several times around the town. Seemed like a nice guy. RIP.

Yes...he was also in Blue Thunder (was that the name?) the one about the Apache Helicopter?

Yeah, yeah. That's the one I was trying to remember. Thanks!

Dang man, Roy was quite the stud. He could drive a boat, go in outer space, fly Apache helicopters, captain a submarine, fight giant sharks. Wow...
