My friend is 13 and has pretty lousy stuff. He's looking to upgrade, but he doesn't want to just mooch off his parents' hard-earned money, so he's looking to find a way at 13 to raise some money, but he's having trouble coming up with ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Or make a deal with them. For their part, purchasing this gear and that gear, he'll do this chore for this long per dollar amount, etc.

| | On the TB leaderboard for low talent/gear ratios! | | Join Date: Jun 2000 Location: NJ | | | I made great money starting at 12 by having a paper route and mowing lawns in the summers and shoveling driveways and sidewalks in the winter. I saved a bundle and still always had money for just about anything I wanted.
I did work while I was in college but most of what I spent those four years came from money I made and put away on those jobs in the years before.

I also bought stuff cheap, fixed it up if necessary, and sold for a profit (usually).

At least he has "lousy stuff"! |
