Is this an American thing or do other countries have these? I've heard that one is coming to Michigan and I wondered if my Turkish friend had ever seen such a thing.

It's this Saturday, ain't it? Heh heh.... been DECADES since I last went to one of these. I used to build monster trucks out of Legos.

I think I need to revisit my childhood...

I took my son to his first one 2 years ago...had a frickin blast, and I'd never been to one.

It's unsaid that little guys would be into them, so I had to take him, he has like 20 miniatures...

The first one I ever saw at a fair in England. I had never heard of it before that. Now it's huge here.

I've heard of monster truck rallies, tractor pulls, demolition derbies, drag racing etc. outside of the USA... but it's mostly an American thing. I would bet they have a fair amount of it in Australia though, as they have the space and car culture.

They have the space? What, England is too small to have monster trucks?

There's barely room to swing a cat!

The series has events in europe and japan. I couldn't think of a better sport to be played on a soccer field

I can see it being big in Japan. They dig big American things....like Bob Sapp.
