It's looking like my company is going to send me to Monterrey, Mexico, in the very near future, for a week. I'll be going by myself, I'll only have to work during the day, and I'll probably have a few days off. Anyone familiar with the area? Ideas for what to do, what to see, where to stay? Is it easy to navigate? I'll almost definitely have a rental car. Thanks.

Good luck, isn't exactly the nicest city in Mexico. If you know what I mean.

i loved Monterrey. I spent a week there and loved it. Downtown has a huge shopping area that's cool to check out.

There are a lot of really cool nature things as well, like Mudslides, Waterfalls, and they have a great soccer team as well (go to a game)
