I only caught bits of Monty Python re-runs when I was a kid, but recently I've been going back and seeing some of what is now among my favorite comedy thanks to YouTube. Here are some of my favorite sketches/clips.

I want to get an alarm clock that'll wake me with the Monty Python theme music [don't know what it's called other than that]. MP is great.

The theme song is the first segment of John Philip Sousa's "The Liberty Bell".

It's very cool to see young folks still discovering the greatness of Python.

Great choices. I put Argument Clinic right up there with them.

"I just want to come in and steal a few things, madam."

"Are you an encyclopedia salesman?"

Comedy writing at its best.

*argues with self* No it isn't!

Come now, now you're just being contradictory. This isn't an argument!

I was referring to it as the name of the show, so I used a singular past-tense verb to address it.

Edit: Did not!

That's not an argument. An argument is an intellectual process ... contradiction is just the automatic gainsaying of anything the other person says.
