Morning Ritual?

Mine is as follows:

Wake up at 6:15

6:17 Drop Deuce, brush teeth, take fish oil and vitamins.

6:25 Say goodbye to roommate, inform him that i shall see him later.

6:30, hella crank some thrash metal

6:40 make pot of coffee, eat a bowl of cereal and a banana while waiting

7:45 turn of hella thrash metal, and go to work.

Wait... IM 5 MINUTES BEHIND!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAH!

I high-five myself then do a lap of honour round the room with my fists in the air shouting '**** yeah'.

5:30AM Roll out of bed, walk across the room to turn off alarm, look back at the bed, jump back in the bed.

5:45AM look up at the clock, figure "OK, I'll get up in a second."

6:20AM, roll out of the bed, take a wizz, wake up the wife and say "sorry, I didn't wake up early enough to make breakfast, what do you want to take to work? Oatmeal?"

6:45AM, rush out of the house, oatmeal and other nasty crap in hand for lunch, jump in the car, and hope I make it to work in time

6:29 - Second alarm. Hit snooze button.
6:30(ish) - Get up, say hi to dog, hit the bathroom, wake up daughter, take dog outside, make sure daughter is up and getting dressed, feed dog, shave, make sure daugher is dressed and getting breakfast, shower, get dressed, brush hair and teeth, help daughter with hair and make sure she brushes her teeth, pack up daughter's backpack (homework, books, lunch), say bye to wife still snuggled up in bed, say bye to dog.
7:25 - Drive daughter to school.
8:02 - Walk into office.

Snooze every 10 mins until 6.40

Up, toilet

Downstairs, kettle on

Upstairs, wake up daughter

Downstairs, get breakfast ready and feed cat.

Upstairs, give brew to wife, get daughter out of bed

Piggyback daughter downstairs

Tom & Jerry at 7am whilst daughter eats breakfast.

7.30 all upstairs to get dressed, brush teeth etc

8.00 out of house...

Sheesh.... Just read that back...how depressingly automated...need to think of a way to mix it up a bit.

830 check work schedule at college and finish any leftover projects

It's hilarious that those who don't like to wake up will use the snooze alarm and end up doing it 2 or 3 times every morning!!

6:00: Wake up...once.
6:02: Feed cat, make coffee, brush teeth, morning dump.
6:20: shower
6:28: get dressed, make lunch, have protein shake
6:40: leave for work
7:00: start work

I don't have a schedule now as I'm between semesters, but usually it's:

-Wake up two hours before class
-Get on computer for an hour (TB, send emails, work on homework, tend to band stuff)
-Use the next hour to ****, shower, shave, and then grab a quick meal
-Go to class

I usually jump out of bed exclaiming "Oh ****!"

Then I throw on my clothes and run out the door and drive straight to work.

After the third cup of coffee, I'm still not ready to go install some bulky piece of equipment that's guaranteed not to match up with the plumbing of the original, so I load it up and go to Home Depot to wander around and try to think of anything I might possibly need......

....like some Dremel bit i don't have or a flashlight for my head....



I really got to start going to bed earlier.

0645 alarm goes off

Snoozes every 7 min til 720ish

0725 Get up like, "Oh snap!"

wakes up daughter, rushes her in shower, gets her dressed, fights with hair, plops her infront of cartoons with cereal

0805 takes 4 min shower, shaves, teeth, pauses for effective appliance of scented man oil

0810 tosses on uniform, stuffs bass/music in gig bag, makes protein shake (optional)

0825 blazes to drop daughter off at pre school
0847 contemplates if chik fil A drive thru is clear enough to get breakfast and make it back on post

0857 walks in for morning formation at 9

0645 alarm goes off, wake up - ONCE (I'm with duff, one time is awful enough, I don't get those that do it multiple times! )
0646 dogs outside, after usual morning greetings
0647 "office visit" (you figure it out)
0700 make coffee (includes cleaning coffee maker, grinding fresh beans), start oatmeal (steel cut, not rolled, thankyouverymuch)
0715 go for dog walk in woods
0800 get back from dog walk
0805 fix cup #1, put together oatmeal, blueberries, small amount of honey (very small, diabetic), walnuts, bit of cinnamon
0810 sit at computer, open e-mail, begin consuming oatmeal & coffee, read e-mail, get on FB and find funny stuff to laugh at, catch up on daily news, harass friends, etc
0840 hit shower
0850 hit the door on the way to the shop
0900 hit the door of the shop and begin another day of making dreams come true

I don't have one. I might be on the left coast, or in Louisville or in Maine working on a project. We did one salvage in S.E Alaska last year where we based off a barge, and lived in a tent.

But, while I was in school, I would get up at 6:00 and eat, shower, get dressed and get a condensed version of the news by 6:30 while listening to the Bob & Tom Show. Then I would do whatever homework I forgot the night before, and go to school at 7:40.

Weekends much the same but stretched out over an even longer period of time.
