Whadda maroon.

I feel bad laughing, but I keep visualizing that when it happened, the guy on the other end of the conversation must have been having one of those moments like you see on the AT&T cell phone commercial where the call drops in the middle of a joke, and the guy thinks he offended the other party.

Gotta love the Fark.com tagline for this one:

You might ask yourself what's going through the mind of a man who walks around a flashing railroad signal while on the phone. If you answer "A locomotive," you'd be right

I am so glad that I didn't have a mouthful of soda when I read that...

...should I feel bad about this? I think no...I just see the addition of a bit of chlorine to the gene pool...

Better that he killed himself on foot rather than killing others as the wheel of a car.

I think considering how "intelligent" this individual is, my one and only conversation with him would have been quite short, and having it cut off in mid sentence would not have upset me in the least.

He was probably on foot because he failed the part of the driving test about crossing train tracks when the gate is down....

...So he actually remained aware enough of his surroundings to WALK AROUND the lowered crossing gate, but to not realize why they were down?

Well done, good Sir.

I was actually having a phone conversation with someone once where they were driving and talking on their cell, and they got into a bad wreck. We were just discussing invoices and shipping policies and... THUMP Aaaaaghh!!! *sound of glass smashing * *screaming*...

...Then a few seconds later she gets back on the phone and says "Sorry about that, we were just in an accident, what were you saying?"

I was like "hang up the goddam phone and call the police, your insurance, and an ambulance! We'll talk about invoices later!" She kept talking and apologizing for the interruption, so I think she was in shock. After a few tries I finally got her to hang up.

Anyway, in the first few moments I thought I was listening to somebody die.
