Yes some days we have too much time on our hands. I see the same discussion threads repeated over and over and over. What subject(s) do you feel are discussed too much. Personally I find it kind of funny/ridiculous with all the Fender bashing. What's yours?
EDIT Just thought this would be fun...it's always great to have a good laugh.

Looks like blatant racism wins by a narrow margin. The poll is still open if you care to vote.

And while I was doing that I figured I may as well replace the tuners to help lighten it up a little. Oh, and the bridge, the Badass REALLY made a huge difference. So for the cost of the bridge I got a bass that's ... and the pickups too, I forgot about them. I put in new Basslines and all it took was replacing the original pup's to TOTALLY transform it! Then I figured if I'm replacing the pickups I may as well put in a preamp, too, to get some added versatility, so I also routed a battery cavity in the back to make life easier. Then once I replaced the neck I figured all it needs is a new pickguard to add some spice. But think about it, for only $109 I've got a bass guitar that blows away every mass produced bass and most boutiques costing boatloads more - and it's practically STOCK!!!!!"
OK, OK, maybe I'm exaggerating the typical SX dead-horse-beating discussions just a little bit.
