+1

It should go without saying that we're speaking our opinions here, but as you say, some people do pose their opinion as fact.

I take the question to be a phrase that you are sick of hearing-my pet peeve is when asked about your playing style (do you typically play a lot of notes or do you play spartan, fast/slow, melodically/technically, etc) and the response is "i play what the song calls for" overused. Its like when you ask someone what their favorite kind of music is, and they answer 'i listen to everything'

Stop. Please. It doesn't answer anything

Most people using the word "Karma" are just trying to appear as self-righteous angels

History has shown that people who always do the right thing don't gain any advantage

And, people that do the "wrong" thing on a regular basis often screw the honest people in this world without repercussion

So, in my opinion, the Karma invoking peeps have either done bad stuff and feel bad about it and taken their ill-gotten gains, or have always tried to do the right thing and ended up nowhere and spite the typical human instinct to fork others over for personal gain

As a species, the human race is full of bad "Karma"

If the definition is "what goes around comes around" we, as the human race, are due for a major payback

So, you "Karma" peeps, Don't get upset when the entire human race is wiped from this planet

After all, it's Karma bro!

Groove... I REALLY hate the phrase "hold the groove" due to its over use here. Every time a new guy pops up and asks "hey fellas, I'm new at teh bass, got any pointerz for teh n00bz?" 50 people chime in: groove this, groove that, hold the groove, never waste a groove, have fun and groove, gotta groove with the drummer, ad nauseam for 6 pages. It makes my skin crawl.

Unfortunately there is no better phrase/word out there to describe it besides "pocket" which doesn't seem to wanna catch on.

Oh well, c'est la vie.
