Maybe it was a tune or a great screensaver or some free shareware to manage some stuff for you, I'm curious.
My son and I just joined the over 4 million seti@home.com users and in the process from the Canadian site learned that Kazaa is corrupted and Kazaalite.com is clean.
Neat stuff out there. What was your last down load?

Last thing I downloaded? D&D 3e "Quintessential Fighter" manual.

Why i downloaded it? I like to testdrive new OS alternatives. Im only 19, but i have been using computers since i was 4 years, yep! my father was a real geek when i was a kid, now, it's just an averange human being. My PC has multiboot with different OS, like RedHat 8, WindowsXP SP1 and FreeBSD 4.5. This one it's a new one to my list.

i work at the university of wisconsin - madison help desk, so you can imagine that we have a lot of file sharing program users we have to support. and almost every single instance of people not being able to connect to the internet or computer crashing at odd times is due to kazaa.
get rid of it!!!
anyways - last thing i downloaded was....hmm....
either a keygen for opera 7 (i'm not gonna pay for the beta, but i'm surely going to buy it when it's released if they fix everything)
or amplitube - a vsti amp/effect simulation plugin. and it didn't work.
i try not to download too much stuff though. its stealing just like downloading music is stealing. (even worse, some of these programs cost hundreds of dollars!) |

The last thing I actually downloaded that wasn't just a picture was the song "Only You" by the Flying Pickets. |
