well the results are in from the last test before the 2010 season starts in three weeks and it looks like it's gonna be a good one. kinda hard to draw any real conclusions from a test but rossi and stoner were no surprise looking strong. it was good to see hayden moving up and spies is gonna be a force to recon with.

it'll also be interesting to see who figures out the big bike and rises to the occasion out of all the great new riders up from the 250's.

all in all this has the makings of a really great season!
predictions anyone?

I predict this to be the most ignored sports thread on TB. Its a shame Americans don't have much interest in MotoGP. In Europe, those men are super celebrities!

Anyway, I'll all for Stoner. Rossi will probably win it again, but he's getting kind of old (even though he's what? 35?). God, the MotoGP racing scares the crap out of me. I could never do that stuff.

it is strange that with all the americans who have been and still are at the top that motogp isn't more popular in america...especially considering they run two races over here. oh well i'm ultra-turbo psyched. with any luck i'll finally make it down to laguna seca this year. that spies kid is gonna be good and i wouldn't be surprised if he took a podium there.

MotoGP!! Go Spies! I've watched GP for the past 4 years. I've never been more excited for a season than now. Hayden, Edwards, and Spies are showing their potential. I cannot wait for Qatar on April 12th.

It comes down to three basic things......Trusting your cornering traction, being able to brake REALLY hard and being comfortable with the bike sliding into and out of the turns. Very simple

Dude, I love MotoGP. Nicky Hayden is my fave, Val Rossi a close second. Gonna be a great season.

WSBK Round 2

Just got through watching race 2 of the World Superbikes at Portomao. A double for Biaggi! Not bad for an old guy. That Aprilia looked great when it came out last year and it's smokin' fast now. The Brits looked strong in both races (British Superbikes sure breeds 'em fast and aggressive) and there were a lot of good fights down through the pack. Not a great start again for Roger Hayden...be nice to see him move up as the season unfolds. Tough gig though, WSBK is a little higher caliber than any AMA class he's raced before.

All in all great racing. If you wanna torrent them you can grab them here:
