It's the time to look like Tom Selleck again. You have what it takes to become a Mo' Bro?

Hell yes. Eventually this will dovetail into the "bassists with beards" club.

Men born from the 1980's to the present are unable to to grow *official* mustaches... Beards however, we are very capable. In fact, I have been sporting one for a long time. Had to trim today, though.

You could always trim it so that you have moustache and a beard. That's what I intend to do

I just entered the bassists with beards club. Thanks for the info, I had missed that thread for reasons unknown.

Hi, I'm Buzz Killington, and you have to shave on November first to properly participate in Movember. Also, the reason for having a mustache is that it's a conversation starter to speak and inform about men's health – especially prostate cancer.

Otherwise, you're just participating in No Shave November, which is a separate entity that's only associated to No Sex November.

I grew my moustache in 1968. Since then, I cut it off once for three months in 2006. Otherwise, I've worn it without interruption for 43 years.

I grew my moustache in 1978. Been there since. Grew the gotee around 2002 and that too has been there since.

Grew the beard about a year ago, nothing burly, trimmed short. The young hottie who cuts my hair said "you look fabulous with the beard. Don't shave it off."

I may keep it for while!

I just looked into this today. I've heard the term but thought it was an internet hipster thing that wouldn't go away. I'm willing to grow, but I dont want to shave my chin beard

2 months ago I let my beard grow out about 1 inch, shaved it (foolishly) except my moustache... looked way too much like a bad 1970's sitcom policeman... or male entertainer. Regardless, I've gone back to the "refined caveman" beard.

I did "movember" as part of the Preds fund-raiser last year. I'm game again this year. And it's for a good cause.
