just download it.

get the youtube video and type the url in and convert it.

then you have to "open" with itunes and it is automatically saved

Handbreak speed is dependent on a number of factors.

1) how much ram you have

2) how many processors you have and their speed

3) file format your converting from and to

4) quality of the conversion

On my computer I can rip a DVD in about 15-20 minutes into an MP4 file appropriate size and resolution to download to my iphone.

For reference I have a 8 core mac pro 3.2ghz, 16 gig of ram.

YMMV

Handbrake is the one and only, IMO.

I've tried a few that are out there and this is the only one that works flawlessly.

I never could get the hang of handbrake, so I went with Videora.

Handbrake is VERY slow at ripping diretly from the disk (and can't handle all copy protection schemes). I copy the dvd to hard disk first with MacTheRipper, THEN run Handbrake.

I've got a MacBook Pro 2.4GHz 2Gig Ram, and it takes and hour or two do do a movie. Just leave it running.
