I was dissapointed in this movie. I was expecting better special effects. Especially better images of the invasion. Most of the time they were vague or blurred and fast. The movie centers around a group of Marines, particularly a Staff Sgt. and a young Lt. And its this group that makes it's way around, surviving the onslaught from the invaders. Some of it is familiar. Like its been done before. In the end, its a decent movie but Like I said. I was very dissappointed with the special effects and the lack of.
2 stars.

It had it's share of "yeah right" moments... but I thought that as far as alien invasion movies went it wasn't too bad... |

We went to dinner then to see this movie. I was also expecting better effects (he was as well, being 15yrs old) but it was kind of nice to see a Sci-Fi movie with an actual plot and characters with some depth to them. Then of course there's Michelle Rodriguez.........I'd agree with Sav'nBass and give it a 3.5 all things considered.

I mean, it's called "a visionary stylistic approach"
