Movie scenes that shouldn't be funny but are.

Are there any scenes from movies that are called "dark" or "disturbing", but you still find them funny?

For me, the magnum opus of such scenes is the wood-chipper scene from Fargo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qWFh...eature=related

Other than that, there's The Happening. I thought IT SUCKED overall, but I found myself laughing like CRAZY through most of it!

Anyone else find disturbing **** like this funny?

Slingblade. The entire "band" scene. Heck the whole movie is meant to be dark. I laughed at the whole thing.

The scene in John Woo's film The Killer, where Chow Yun Fat's character is blinded and crawling around looking for his love interest, who is blind. They just crawl right past each other and it's just so hysterical...in a tragic sort of way.

Awesome film though, if you havn't seen it check it out. Almost all action films since have been influenced by it.

The beginning of "Blue Velvet" where the old guy has the stroke while watering his lawn, and the dog is going after the dropped garden hose.

in boondock saints there is a scene when funny man is ranting and he slams the shotgun on the table and it shoots the cat. the cat splatters against the wall and he says "is it dead" me and my friends have to watch that scene at least 3 times when we watch the movie.

The beach music scene in Lost Boys. Every time I see that sax player do the hip thrust thing I almost fall off the couch laughing.

Okay, so this is a recut trailer for a film, but I thought it would be worth posting in this thread.

However, don't then go and rent this movie after seeing the trailer, because you'd be in for one heck of a shock.

anyway, enjoy.
