Question Moving across the country

Sign in to disble this ad
So in 6 weeks, I'm moving from to the other side of the country. Pretty excited, also very nervous, since this is the first "life-changing" decision I've ever made. Have a place to live, a band to join, and time/money to look for a job I want.

Whew!

Anyone else every done this?

And/or anyone in Vancouver wanna hang any time after late October?

I did it a couple of years ago, from PA to WA in the USA. Have any specific questions?
I'm in Seattle, so Vancouver is only a couple of hours away

Nah, I was really just looking for shared experiences. I have friends and family both in Vancouver, so it's not like I'm going to be alone or anything.

And, yeah, I'm planning on hoping down to Seattle at some point, definitely.

Post your experiences here. I'll be moving across the country about the same time. You're going west, I'm going east.

I went from Cincy to San Francisco for conservatory. I had managed to find a friend who was a record store manager and gave me a part time job. That was a big help. My uncle lived there as well, so I had a place to crash until I got my own shared house.
