Hey guys! I have to move in a few months, and I was wondering if that when I moved it, it would change all my settings for AIM, MSN, MySpace, etc., back to the original settings?
Like, will it also remove the blocked people, and who can contact me settings? |

You can access your accounts like Facebook from any computer in the world and the site doesn't know the difference. Everything that's stored in your computer will stay there.

Nothing is based on your computer's actual location since that would allow anyone who plugged a computer in at your previous location to access all your data — needless to say, this would be bad.

Some of stuff is, but these settings are stored on your computers hard drive as a file which cannot get deleted unless you delete them.
Unplugging your computer has nothing to do with it. Your hard drives stores files much like a cassette tape, or CD. Once it's there it doesn't go away until you make it go away. |

If you want to be really sure, just keep watching the holes where you plug in all the wires to make sure that none of your settings leak out. Better still, if you seal it in a stout plastic bag, you should be able to trap any settings that do ooze out and scrape them up with a spoon.
