mp3 player speaker systems

I see an awful lot of speaker systems that have an ipod dock. However, I have a Sansa mp3 player and I wouldn't mind being able to use something other than earphones on occasion. I know I can use an aux in where available, but how about keeping the unit charged? I'd like a set-up where I could either charge my Sansa while playing through speakers or at least not drain it. Does anyone know if that is possible? It does seem that when I am recharging my Sansa that I cannot play it at the same time, but I haven't really tried to either - when I am recharging, I'm either just doing that or loading/reloading songs via the computer. What brands of mp3 players allow you to charge and play at the same time?
