MTV and Facebook: Lost time!

Sign in to disble this ad
Dude, honestly i don't watch tv often, but sometimes I watch at night before bed, and at the gym there is a TV that always has MTV, and everything that goes there is pure CRAP!!!

Reality shows all day, and everything is about lesbians, gays, (nothing againts them, i have homosexual friends, but I have a very rigid criteria about) stupid people trying to conquer others and make them look like complete idiots, maybe they get paid for being so?

Facebook: I also have an account there, and although it may be used for good things if you know how to use it, I find that it is a total waste of time..

What i just said was very summarized, obviously this is a huge topic, but my point is that in my opinion, all these things are designed to distract our minds, and make people more and more stupid, and make them worry about things that are unimportant or have no benefit.. it's sad.. ironically, and unconsciously i'm in too.. obviously, anyone has the full right to choose not to watch MTV or may not have facebook...

Do like me, Don't watch MTV and don't make a facebook (bit late for that one tho)

At the gym there's the big TV's usually playing sports channels, but every cardio machine has a built in screen (yh I go to THAT kind of gym [no other option]) and just watch the news or any sport event if it's live.

I hardly watch TV. Unfortunately for me, I too, have a Facebook, but now I hardly use it, and thinking of creative ways of getting my account banned.

MTV just isnt the same anymore, I remember the day when it was a MUSIC television network not a reality TV place.

yeah, remember when they played videos, then they stopped, then they started MTV2 to only play videos 24/7, then MTV2 stopped, and now there is no music related tv worth watching and Mtv has no right to call even themselves "M" tv

The only television I watch is either already released on a DVD, or I've recorded it on a PVR and watched it later (skipping the commercials).

Shows I regularily watch (again, sans commercials): Glee (yeah, wut! My girlfriend and I enjoy watching it. Nothin' like a big dose of estrogen every tuesday!), Breaking Bad, Dexter, Ice Pilots NWT, South Park, the Oblongs (...It's old, but I watch it from time to time), Walking Dead, et cetera.

And then there's the shows on the History and Discovery channel. If I had the military channel, I'd never leave the television room.

Amount of time spent on Facebook in an average week: About 10 minutes.

I spend more time reading, playing video games (reduce my video game amount by 80% since I started my new job), and play music.

I Don't. My comment is directed to all this crap is damaging society and the minds of young people who are unknowingly being alienated!! pretty much the same as the documentary zeitgeist suggests!

Sad but true.Also funny.

At the gym put on your headphones and work out to your fav. music.

Use fb as a tool to chat with friends you don't see too otfen if you like to.Don't use anything that seems like a waste of time to you.

There you go...
