Anyone here see it yet?

Mummies of the World: The Exhibition

Took the wife to see it on Saturday. Wow, all I can say was that it was amazing.
If you're a bit squeamish it may be a little creepy, but the reality is that it's so fascinating that you'll forget about any creepiness within a few mins. Mummies rock
The display was very respectful and well-done.

Go see it if you can.

I saw Mummies of the World exhibit in Milwaukee, last summer. My honest opinion of it was just a bunch of preserved corpses, old dead people on display. I wasn't awed, but that's just me.

Yeah I guess it revolves around where your interest lie just like anything else. I'm big into history and whatnot so this was right up my alley

So did you recognize any old friends from high school?

No, but one of them was asking how you were doing because he had not seen you in years...

Glad to hear you liked it because I told my son I'd take a day off to go with him if he wants to. I just have to convince him to give up a day of precious summer vacation to go to a .... a ..... a .... MUSEUM!!!!

FWIW, I didn't get to see Bodies when it was there, but my wife and I were in Las Vegas last year and we saw it there. I was wondering if the creepy factor might be high but it was fascinating. We both loved it.

How old is he? Admission to the mummy exhibit also includes admission to the Franklin Institute itself so it's well worth it IMO.

He's 14. Yeah, we also intended to go through the Franklin Institute itself since we haven't done that in a while. Plus, he's becoming interested in astronomy so I'd like him to see the Fels Planetarium.

Oh, and I also want to ride the Sky Bike again. That was really cool!
