Well well, for those who laughed at my town being... well boring 'cause it is.. and the closest Wal-Mart being an hour from here, being asked if there seriously was music here, all the snow.. being 1 000 kms from Toronto, and so on ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hearst%2C_Ontario )

Well happens there was murder here this week,

Cool. I'd personally hate to live in some backwater hole in the ground where no one ever got murdered. Its kind of strange, but murder rate is a great way to measure the "fun" quotient of a place. If a city's people are willing to put in the effort it takes to kill each other, they're more likely to put in the effort it takes to open liquor stores, sell drugs, prostitute their biatches and build nice parks for the kids.

In 1000 years you're town might take its place along side the other great world cities and be looked back upon as one of the crowning achievements of 21st century human civilization...right up there with Detroit.

So did you kill someone to get your town on the map?

(Just kidding) Did you happen to know the guy?

Sorry to hear about the death. Usually affects a small area more intensely.

Dammit. I have a lot of material similar to what's already been done, but it just seems a little wrong. I'm gonna go see if I can drink my conscience away and come back.

Amatuers. Here you go: http://edition.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/01....ap/index.html

Few towns can do senseless violence the way they can.

Any town that is the victim of this deserves a little slack, don't you think?

TheBigO and his girlfriend has been the only beneficiary of that, to date, and those were very special circumstances.
